Privacy Policy for North Node Vault

Effective Date: August 16, 2025

At North Node Vault, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you entrust to us.

What We Do:

North Node Vault is a digital planning tool that allows users to upload documents, take photos, or complete forms related to personal, legal, and end-of-life planning. All data is stored locally on your device or in your personal Google Drive — never on our servers.

What We Collect:

We do not collect, store, or access your uploaded documents, forms, or photos. The app uses Google OAuth only to allow you to connect your Google Drive for storing your own files.

We do not use tracking cookies, and we do not collect analytics or personal data unless you voluntarily share feedback with us.

Google Drive Access:

If you choose to connect Google Drive, the app will request permission to create a folder and upload documents to your Drive. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google account settings.

Your Control:

You have full control over your data. Files remain private to you unless you choose to share them. Disconnecting or deleting your account from Google Drive does not affect your access to files already stored there.
